A source-backed tile grid: teal for still-growing stages, amber for the turn and crossover, terracotta for outright shrinkage.

Neutral layer: international migrant stock as a share of resident population where IMS 2024 matches the WPP entity. When enabled, Stage 3 cells with negative natural change but non-negative total change flip back to growth with a decline marker: migration is masking the natural decrease.
Tile labels are grouped by WPP region and show ISO alpha-2 codes with a visible S0-S5 stage glyph, so stage is not encoded by color alone. Growth stages use teal, crossover stages use amber, and shrinking stages use terracotta.
